Let’s continue our exploration of Photoshop Elements tools.
The next tool we will look at is the Paint Bucket. I don’t use it much in creating my scrapbook pages, but I do use it when I am designing my digital scrapbook kits. Let’s take a look at it. The name pretty much says it all. Use it to colorize different areas in your image.
Open your photo that you want to use. I have chosen a picture of a tee shirt from Myrtle Beach.
Select the Paint Bucket tool from the Tools panel in Expert Mode and set your Foreground color.
I have chosen a bright green, so that changes are apparent.
- To use the Paint Bucket tool, simply click the area to be painted.
- Continue with the Paint Bucket, until you have achieved the desired results.
- Tip – If an area that you want to color doesn’t have closed lines, the color will seep into adjacent areas. You can zoom in and by using the brush tool, close the line.
